How difficult will it be to clean and maintain concrete floors?

Walk-off matts!

Use these at every entrance to ensure that dirt and grit don’t make it onto your new flooring. This will help maintain the appearance of the floors.

Sweep the floors everyday and use a mild detergent or floor cleaner once a week to clean your new floors. If your concrete floors were sealed with an acrylic sealer, you will need to periodically recoat the floors with wax to maintain the shine. Do this once every six months for medium traffic areas.

Great, but how long does it take for your guys to finish a concrete floor covering project?

Okay, let’s see. It takes our crew anywhere between 3 to 6 days to finish the flooring on a 5000 sq. ft. space. But this is a very basic estimate. If your job includes complicated designs, customized logos and multiple colors, your project will take longer.

So it all really depends on area, design requirements and substrate conditions. But we do promise to get it done on the earliest!

But what makes Concrete Floor Covering such a perfect option? What’s so great about it?

Concrete is perfect for homes, offices, hotels, and every other type of building. We work with decorative concrete as it creates a beautiful aesthetic finish, buffs up to a beautiful shine and has amazing strength and structural capabilities.

Here is why we are such huge proponents of concrete flooring:

  • If you can imagine, we can create it in concrete. It offers an unlimited number of colors, textures, patterns.
  • When compared to tiles, wood, carpet flooring, concrete is classier and more economical. The perfect combo!
  • Concrete floors are always in vogue. The strength and durability offered by concrete will never go out of fashion.
  • Speaking of strength, concrete floors can last through severe temperature changes and with a bit of care and love, the colors will last forever and ever!
  • These need minimal maintenance and cleaning to look amazing!

We want our wood floors to be converted to concrete. Can you do it?

Yes! Our flooring experts will give you a beautiful concrete floor with unlimited color and design options. Our staff is well-versed in innovative techniques and products that will make it possible.

We really like the idea of having concrete floors but currently we ceramic/porcelain/marble tiles. Will these need to be removed or do you have a better idea?

Well, our flooring experts will have to visit your place before giving an answer on that one. If the tiled floor is in good condition, then we won’t remove the tiles. Instead we will just put a layer of polymer modified concrete right on top of it and it will serve as your concrete floor instead. Anything that can be done with a concrete floor can be done with this modified concrete as well. So your design options will become endless.

Our basement is still in the 60s with glued down carpet/vinyl tile. What can you do to bring it to the present?

What we can do is remove the carpet/ vinyl tiles and resurface the floors below with a thin layer of polymer modified concrete. This will become the surface that we work with. The options then are endless as we can create unique, artistic and absolutely beautiful patterns in any number of colors.

We have bare concrete floors, what can you do to make them look good?

If you want to add bit of color and life to your concrete floors, you can opt for any of the following:

  • Acid Staining:

We can create a number of effects and many patterns with the help of acid staining. But your floor (and you) must meet the following

  • conditions before it can go through the process:
  • your existing concrete should be crack free,
  • it shouldn’t be sealed, cured or painted over,
  • you like surprises and don’t mind an artistic floor design done in earth tones
  • you don’t the many shades and effects and never really wanted a uniform color for your flooring!
  • Resurfacing with polymer modified concrete

If your concrete floors don’t satisfy the conditions put forth above, we can still work with it. But first we will have to install a thin layer of modified concrete on top and work with that.
During resurfacing, the results are more predictable and we can give your floors a smooth a polished appearance in a uniform color. But the design possibilities are pretty much endless with this method. So if you have a color, effect and design in mind, you can let us know and we’ll do our best.

  • Polished Concrete

If you want a professional finish for your existing concrete slab then this is your option. We will polish the concrete to high shine and give it an industrial look that is great for garages, laboratories, and offices.
